Wild Horse Golf Club

Par: 72

Yardage: 4,688 – 6,955 Yards

Wild Horse Golf Club located in Gothenburg, Nebraska is rated one of the best golf courses in the United States. Several golf magazines have rated Wild Horse in their prestigious ratings. Among them are Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Golf Week Magazine.

A links-style course, Wild Horse normally plays with firm and fast conditions. Playing the course, you do not think you are in Nebraska. The course features many blow-out bunkers that were shaped by nature. These bunkers are common to courses in the western part of the state and are truly something to behold.

With generous fairways, the course appeals to golfers of every skill level, but if you miss the fairway, be prepared to hit your next shot out of fescue or a bunker! Once you get to the lightning quick greens, you will need your best judgement to navigate the slope and speed.

Wild Horse Golf Club has hosted many prestigious events including the Nebraska State Match Play won by Jon Deines in 2005 and Kevin Stanek in 2011. It also hosted the 2008 Nebraska Junior Match Play Championship won by Josh Reinertson.
