Omaha Country Club

Omaha Country Club is a premier facility in Nebraska. Recently host to the 2013 U.S. Senior Open and 2016 Nebraska State Amateur, this course has hosted some of the finest in Championship Golf. It also holds the record for most Nebraska State Amateur’s hosted.

In 2005, the course underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation. To respect much of Perry Maxwell’s redesign in 1952, the renovation was performed by Keith Foster; the same architect who restored Maxwell’s designs at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK and Colonial in Fort Worth, TX.

One of the things that makes Omaha Country Club stand out among courses in Nebraska is its character. There are no two holes alike on the course, and the dramatic elevation changes test your shot making skills on every hole. The course plays to a par 71 and features three par-5’s, ten par-4’s, and five par-3’s. Most would agree one of the major keys to taming OCC is playing the par-3’s well. The back 9 features 2 short par-4’s in a row that lull you into a false sense of security before facing a strong set of finishing holes.
